Maximus is a big beer with a huge reputation. This Gladiator of a beer is based on the traditional golden triple style from Belgium and weighs in with a solid 8% abv. It presents an intense gold colour with a rich fruity and hoppy nose. Lovely effervescent carbonation gives way to a full soft malt character with hoppy overtones and warming alcohol in the finish.
