Really creepy ambience. Large room with lots of furniture scattered seemingly random everywhere. They had Lervig Konrad russian imperial stout though. Which is a pretty fantastic beer. The barkeeper didnt seem very knowledgeable about beer types, but had some info on the beers themselves. A pretty wierd place really, but they have some pretty decent beers there so hey.

I have been here a few times since it is one of few places in this area of Bergen with a good beer selection. The bartender/owner is nice, but does not seem to know what he is selling. Once I asked for a recommendation for an IPA, and he recommended a Belgian abbey beer (Maredsous). If you want to try new beers and get recommendations from the bartender, I would not go to Cacti. However, if you are in the Bryggen area and you know what you want, you will always be able to find something interesting here.

Having a evening in Bergen, you don´t need to go any other place! Lunch, dinner and midnight snack or a real junk treat. accompanied by not less than 111 known and odd beertypes. My count so far is 34 brands, but then I´ll always fall back to bitte ein bit:)
