This place is really cool. I used come here 25years ago at school. 2 floors. Lots of wood, and copper walls. 24taps: I guess half are house beers, and half are guest beers. Super cool location a few blocks from concerts at UC Theater, from Berkeley campus, BART, restaurants. Food is fantastic too. Love it!

Just a few blocks from Triple Rock, in the heart of downtown Berkeley and close to the BART. Huge place, with all sorts of different seating areas; we were seated near the water fountain in the centre. Order by QR code and they bring it out. Not that many house beers available when I visited, but some more guest taps (mostly Drake's), but only house beers available in 5 oz pours. The two we tried -- both IPAs -- were solid, but nothing special. Solid place to hang out with friends, but it's not a craft beer destination. Not worth a special trip, but if you have time in the area, it's worth visiting.

Went here on our first night in Berkeley and we loved it. Beautiful outside space with very happy staff and good American style pizza. Tasty enough home brews, nothing crazy but well done. Lots to choose from to, and there’s also guest taps. Kids love it here too and are very welcome. Fun place!

Visited twice in February. Two story bar with a big patio, mostly wood, good ambiance. Selection is fairly good with their own beers on tap and a list of further taps and bottles to drink in. I enjoyed myself on some US classics I didn’t have before, once paired with a US style pizza. All good, prices reasonable.

I didnt have this place high in my list of the places I wanted to visit during my trip to the Bay area. We went there since it is very close to Tripple Rock brewpub and we were too tired for going somewhere else. Finally I liked it a lot so I visited again at my last day, it was actually the last bar I visited in the area before going back to Greece. Nice ambiance, a lot of wood (I like wood), we stayed at the bar, there are tables in the main room and it seems that there is a room upstairs too. There is also a patio at the back which was full both times I went there. They dont do flights so I chose to drink some of their guest beers on taps. Interesting tap list and some nice bottles. The service was great, prices were good too and the pizza was very tasty.

Nice bar in Berkeley. Busy on a Monday night. Great bartender. Decent selection of their (Drakes) beers. Small bottle list. Decent guest taps. Should rate a visit.

Nice outdoor seating, lots of good house beers -- I liked my imperial coffee porter. Gets crowded though.

Visited on Friday 29/01/16 around 3pm. Place was pretty quiet in between lunch and dinner. Old skool kind of vibe to this brew pub with lots of wood on offer and a long bar to the side. Service was a little slow to begin with but picked up. No tasting flights available which is frustrating for brew pub and would certainly influence whether I visited alone or not. Beers were decent enough ... coming in around the 3.4 mark which is about my average. No wifi available either ... so again going against the lone rater from overseas big tim ! Pizza was tasty. As Petey Hale says .... parking was not easy so don’t forget to pack a Petey to do this for you ! Overall decent enough for an older brew pub but one to perhaps skip if your time is limited.

Had a brief but enjoyable visit here. They have a pretty good range of beers, and the quality is decent. They don’t do ’small pours’ (closest thing was a half pour, I think). There is a nice range of guest beers as well. Friendly service. Good value. The pizza is quite solid. I would recommend this as a place to get a bite to eat while trying a couple beers. Worth checking out, but probably not a must-visit.

Stopped in here for a quick visit before the Rare Barrel opened. Parking is a bitch in this part of Berkeley - right by campus - when school is in session, and the rain didn’t help. The place itself is low-key and a bit dated, but funky and cozy enough to be warm and interesting. The pizza was good but the place had a cheese smell I couldn’t get over, like cheese was everywhere and hadn’t been cleaned. Almost like having someone puke in your car. The beers were decent and there are some guest taps, as well, although the menu is a bit confusing as to which are house beers and which are guests. Prices are good, I’m guessing because it’s closer to campus. Not an essential stop, but not a bad one, either.
