56 Food can vary wildly depending on who is in the kitchen. Lots of turnover in the wait staf which can lead to inexperienced staff taking ages to get order right. Nice beer selection though, and when the food is right it’s bloody good value for Blenheim. |
66 was a bit disappointed they weren't open the first time i went there but it was new years' day and they did at least open at 10am the next day. nice outdoor shady seating. decent beers plus they had some pink elephant on tap. big window so you can see the brewing zone. staff were very friendly especially since we got there early in the morning |
78 This place was built in 1858 as a malthouse for the local Dodson's Brewery, so it is steeped in history. You can see the brewing equipment from the main bar area so it has that real brewpub feel. The beers are good, not great, but it's nice to sample some real local brews. The food is very nice and dining outdoors on a warm summer's evening is just perfect. |
