74 Good selection. Ample parking. Helpful staff. |
80 big store, with a more-than-decent selection of beers. Some discount beers ( nothing too interesting between them ) , the Obvious selection of macro's, but also a good amount of crafts and very nice imports I wish I could get in Belgium. Even found an Ice Cider, so that will make any day a good day ! Honest prices ( I assume they're fixed within every total wine? ) and helpfull service. Not very beergeeky in it's totality, more like a drinks-supermarket with a great beerselection. |
84 It’s a Total Wine, much like every other Total Wine I’ve been to. Huge beer selection with a ton of singles. Prices good, but service can be hit or miss. |
76 Located in a nicer strip mall in the Town Center development. This location is of the huge Total Wine variety, similar to their store in Fort Lauderdale on Cordova Road. The beer selection is primarily stored warn in the back left corner of the store. As with the Fort Lauderdale location, their is an enormous single selection, more or less every beer is featured as a single, with six packs located directly below the single which is a setup I enjoy. Craft, import and seasonal are all broken out. Solid store, certainly one of the best I have visited in the area. 76 = ★★★ (Worth the visit, must for locals, and visitors with time) I only use the total score, not the component parts. |
82 Total wine does have the best selection of beer in south Florida. |
80 Huge selection of American and European beers alike. Beer guy was very friendly, going out of his way to find me the last 6-pack of Sculpin that was hiding in the back fridges. It’s a warehouse atmosphere, but who cares? I want bottles in good shape, and lots of them, and that’s exactly what they have. |
68 I have to disagree with the last reviewer. They did have some cigar city releases. I bought a bomber in fact. Typical total wine set up although this one had way more liquor than you typically see since this south florida. The beer selection was the typical total wine selecton and brands, (Flying Fish, Laughing Dog, Clown Shoes) You could probably do much worse around here. |
72 Your typical Total wine with a ton singles available but lacking special releases and no Cigar City. Worth a stop if in the area but don’t expect to any hard to find beers. |
68 Good selection and what was suprising to me was that here not all goodies were sold out as in other bottle shops I visited in Florida. Maybe not too many beer geeks around to empty the shelves. Staff didn’t seem to be much beer oriented, more there to handle the cash register. |
70 I think once you’ve been to one or two Total Wine’s you’ve pretty much seen them all. There were no surprises with this one. Pretty good selection, especially singles, low prices that undercut the little guy, and little in the way of customer service. I will say, however, the person at the checkout was very friendly, which I don’t always get at T-Wines. Sometimes they are down right grumpy. If you know what you want or just want to browse for yourself, this is a good stop. I actually found a couple of things I was surprised to find. But I also prefer to buy from the "little guy" although I’m not sure such place exists in this area. |
