The selection here is nice, but at the same time small and somewhat limited. Expect to find special bottles, and some are fairly more pricey than everywhere else.

I began patronizing "Kingdom" about 7 years ago and have never looked back. I have surely been in many a beer store over the years but this little hidden gem in Brandon is surely the overall best. You will not meet a more knowledgeable proprietor than Deepak. The guy has a memory like a steel trap when it comes to beer. He has detailed knowledge of his rather extensive selection and he somehow remembers all of your personal likes and dislikes. Whenever I go in, which is quite often he manages to lead me to several high quality brews. He has my personal taste memorized and he is rarely off the mark. If your looking for personalized and friendly service, hard to find and rare beer, a wealth of knowledge and great conversation, visit Kingdom Liquors.

Sometimes, the owner makes the experience. This is one of those times. Every time I go in, I feel as if I’m visiting an old friend. The very first time I stopped in, I asked a couple questions, received great informative answers, and bought a few beers. I then stopped again maybe a month or so later. On that second visit, he not only remembered me with a greeting and smile, but he remembered exactly what I had purchased, and asked how my selections were, by name! Great place, great selection, great location, and top-notch service. The service is like stepping back in time to the old barber days, where you would never want to get your haircut anywhere else. Why? Because your barber has actually become a friend to you (if that makes sense to anyone). Great place, great selection, great service!

people have been talking about this place like its the warehouse where the Ark of the Covenant was stored, swearing its the best beer store in the area. i finally broke down, after looking for a few beers no one else seemed to have. the place is clean, but the beer aisle is about the half the size of say Beer World in Largo or Shep’s in St Pete. aside from a couple of oddball breweries, there was nothing spectacular about it. i spent about 15 minutes perusing the aisle before heading out. on the way, the owner asked me if i was looking for something in particular. i mentioned one of the beers no one else seemed to have, and he said in fact he had 2 cases of it in the back. after i picked my jaw up off the floor, he then told me he couldnt sell me any. why? because he was saving it for "his regulars". they hadnt prepaid for it, or even had it on hold. he just knew some were wanting it, so he said he was saving it all for them first. he then asked me where i regularly shopped, and being from st pete he told me i should get to know a local beer store and get them to get it for me, again repeating the ones sitting in the back were for "his regulars". i go to beer stores on a weekly basis. i know other stores very well. and none of them would deny someone a sale, unless it were a prepaid or a special order, in order to appease "the regulars" like me. $20 from a "regular" is the same $20 from a "newbie", so fuck the preferential treatment. im a retail store owner, and money is money unless i get a prepay or a special order. otherwise, its fair game for anyone. i dont hide merch in the back for my "regulars". this is what makes the craft beer community look like a bunch of snobby elitist assholes. fuck this place. i will never go back, seeing as im not good enough since im not a local. better prices, better selection, and WAY better attitude can be found elsewhere.

This is a great store with top notch service. I have been coming here for about a year now and I consider myself a "regular". After reading the negative comment I had to say something. First of all the beer selection here is awesome and not everything is on the shelf. The owner is probably one of the nicest and most knowledgeable guys in the area. I’m glad to have certain beers put away for the folks who truly enjoy it and support the store on a regular basis. The owner is not all about the money and has a genuine respect for his customers. For someone to say "fuck this place" and bad mouth the store is just ignorant. Not everyone wants to make a quick buck and you get what you pay for. I highly recommend checking out this little gem in Brandon.

For the record, Brady123212 is an ABC employee, and he came into the store with his ABC uniform on according to his review on Foursquare, so take his review with a massive grain of salt. I’ve never received anything but absolutely excellent service at Kingdom. I’ve been shopping there for three years, and their selection and freshness of product is absolutely unmatched for the area. Really, there’s nowhere better to shop in the Tampa area than Kingdom. At Total Wine and Whole Foods, there’s far less rarer selections and freshness can often be an issue.
