No Longer In Business

The APK were no longer brewing their house beers on my visit.

Bit of a curiosity this place - a pizza restaurant that brews a few beers but doesn’t make a fuss about them. You wouldn’t stumble on it unless you’re looking for it because it’s tucked below ground level in Baileys Arcade on the London Circuit in the city centre. Apart from the brewing equipment in the corner, it looks like a typical pizza joint with some "Grease" style booths along the walls. Otherwise the surroundings are fairly spartan. They brew on-site and seem to have two beers on at any one time - an alcoholic ginger beer and a changing seasonal. Neither was very good the night we visited. However, the pizzas were pretty decent and it’s close to the Wig & Pen for a quick feed and another couple of ratings.
