68 A bit below average for a whole foods. Small non-refrigerated section of mostly Belgians, along with a refrigerated section with sixers and bombers. A few interesting locals, things like Silva Stout (a buck cheaper than the BevMo nearby). |
70 As with all Whole Foods, a pretty respectable, but not huge selection. An employee did actually offer to help me, which was a bit of a nice surprise. They have a pretty good number of local products along with the usual Belgian, German, Japanese, etc. beers. Some local stuff from the likes of Uncommon, Santa Cruz Ale Works, etc. Noticed a few of the obligatory "house" brands, too. |

Whats nice is that this is in the same shopping center as the Bevmo, so it’s two potential stops in one. This shopping center is right across the street the mall. This particular whole foods had more beer than the crummy Santa Cruz location and had an employee near by that was their beer person. He made plenty of suggestions and they carry some imports that I’ve never seen in southern California. Not going out of my way to stop here but as far as Whole Foods goes, this one isnt bad for beer. |
62 As said, typical whole foods. Branciforte store has a better selection, store’s crowded. |
56 Small but decent quality selection, typical whole foods getup, but only a few Belgians and singles selections. The only real plus about the place (bevmo is next door with five times as much beer...) is deschutes and stone special releases seem to stick around forever. |
