Bar on campus in UC, sort of near the stadium, across from it, kind of. At the time of my writing, the area near the front is under construction and restricted to pedestrians, so getting here was kind of a bitch. It’s mainly a bar for students, Cliftonites, and craft beer geeks who happen to be at the UC games, so those groups must not have much trouble finding the place. Even outside of construction periods, I normally have to park on McMillan and weave my way through a couple different campus buildings to find this place. It’s worth it every other time, though.. Impressively, they frequently have a rare beer on tap (typically from Premium Beverage Supply). 8 taps, all craft, a lot of local, and a solid selection of craft bottles too. Bartenders are nice and helpful, though clearly not beer geeks (during my stay, anyway). I can’t complain at all though, I always stop in during quiet hours and service is always good. Inside, the atmosphere is kind of odd, but fun. Bright school colors all over the walls, arcade games, TVs, 4 pool tables, other stuff fun stuff on the other side of the bar. A woman I work with at a higher-end bar in town describes this place as "hanging out in a teenager’s parents’ basement", and that’s a pretty apt descriptor, if that basement totally rocks. It’s pretty appropriate for a college campus bar, and seems like a fun place for the target market to hang out. I really respect the beer selection, though, that’s why I keep coming back. Always good craft beers on tap, for $4-5 a serving. During my most recent stay I tried the food for the first time... I wasn’t terribly hungry but in the mood for a snack, so I got a cajun chicken slider for $1.50. It was fantastic! Basic, but hot, flavorful, moist, and super-satisfying... Would go for the sliders again. Overall, I’m a fan of this place... Been here maybe 10 times in the past 3 years, and the beer selection is interesting enough to make revisits worth it for those occasional rare tappings (Weyerbacher’s Aquila, most recently). A hidden gem on the UC campus. Must be a cherished treasure for any students or faculty on campus that happen to be beer enthusiasts.

Probably the best college campus bar I’ve ever been to. Good selection, great staff, and probably the best value in the city. The only thing is that the menu is very limited and the food sucks (but there’s additional options upstairs, and they’ll let you bring food in). AWESOME spot to go to before games, or just for an afternooner!

I’ve never eaten here before, but the beer selection just keeps getting bett and better. Even when it’s super busy on game days, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Great place to drink in Clifton, let alone on campus.

Bar in the basement of the Tangeman Student Center right in the middle of the UC campus. I can’t believe the selection for a campus bar- only 2 taps but usually something pretty solid, and 40-ish bottles. They seem to have a limit on what they’ll have at any one time, so they keep a nice balance. The whole student center and Main Street development is fairly new, so the bar has some of that generic newness to it, but seems to be developing some of its own character and charm. Some pool tables, dartboards, and a couple other games. Decent amount of tables and a big enough L-shaped bar. The student staff is friendly and they seem eager to learn, despite not really being the most knowledgable staff you’ll meet. Student prices are a big plus. Not the best location for parking, but this is walking distance to my place, so that has never mattered to me.

Nice place to go have a beer while on campus. Good selection of bottles, moderate selection on tap. This place can get very crowded, but would be a great place to go watch a game(lots of TV’s). Very close to Nippert Stadium. For bars with craft beers in Cincinnati, Catskeller would rate in my top three, which come to think about it, isn’t a ringing endorsement.

This was a real treat to find on campus in the Tangeman Center. Adam brings in a great selection of craft beer in bottles and on draft and sells them at great prices. This was the sight of my first glass of Nightstalker. Typical bar food is ok. Parking around UC is tough. I hope they maintain this now that Adam is gone.

In the UC student union downstairs. Parking on Clifton is interesting. Great location with good beer list at student pricing. Good knowledge of beers and freindly staff. Very good location worth a stop at anytime and great location if in town for sports. Food is pub/student with good selection and student prices.
