60 (Visited 02/2015 during Cincinnati Beer Week):Cock & Bull is on Sharon Road in the Glendale area of northern Cincinnati. Street parking is available in the surrounding blocks. The inside is laid out pretty typically for pubs of this style. There is table seating at the left past the entrance and a bar on the right side. Brick walls, a wooden floor, and large windows looking outside. There is a large chalkboard at the end of the bar listing the beers. The draught list numbers around 20, and we were there for a "tap takeover" for CBW that turned out to be one beer. Aside from that there were some regional craft breweries plus the stuff you would expect to find at an English pub. Service on a relatively slow Saturday afternoon seemed like we were interrupting the staff. I didn’t have any food on this visit. Overall this place was okay but nothing about the visit makes me consider it worth coming back considering how many good spots there are in Cincy. |

46 English style pub, biggish selection but its mostly widely available stuff, about 40 taps and 40 bottles. Surprisingly not very many English beers at all. The service was horrendous, took forever to get drinks and the servers didn’t know anything about beer. Ambiance was solid, huge outdoor patio. A fun place to go, but not a recommend. |
