No Longer In Business

I prefer Nugget’s food and beer selection to Whole Foods, but the location is convenient enough to pop in and see. They’ve had a surpise or two in the past.

Pretty good craft selection. Saw the New Belg/Vivant Biere de Garde here first. Beer guy says the shelf space is going to soon double - or maybe even a bit more. The guy is keyed to frisking distributors for new releases and uncommon beers. Plus the sandwiches are really very good. Curry chicken sandwich is excellent. Parking is tight.*** Beer guy did double the stock; lots of good beers. New Green Flash Hop Head Red today! Plus two others new to me. Worth the effort to stop in. A Drakes rep was handing out free tastes!

Parking is a bitch. Beer selection isn’t really much different from Nugget or The Davis Food Co=Op. As a matter of fact, the beer selection is poorer than Nugget, and probably on par with the Co-Op. You can find a couple odd-balls here, but that doesn’t mean they are good...
