70 Visited 2015 and April 2017. Special social centre and dining project with interesting mixed audience of Rabot locals in this ethnically diverse area of Ghent. Up until recently had Dupont Rédor Pils on tap, now switched back to Jupiler, but kept the Dupont Saison Bio, a few bottled locals and added a few modern beers like Lousberg, Hedonis, Van Steenberge and some Huyghe stuff to complement the trappists and geuze. 3 democratically priced lunch/diner options offered including a vegetarian option. Maybe not a proper beer destination in itself, but worth a stop when you’re discovering Ghent on foot at a 2nd glance. - Tip: have a glass here after your visit of nearby Museum Dr Guislain, an unsurpassed collection of arty and clinical madness... |
72 Very surprising place in the Rabot district in Ghent. A bar-restaurant as a social project. Very nice place to sit and eat a snack or the day menu (always very fresh made). Not a huge selection of beers but well chosen. No Inbev or Heineken beers but trappists, geuze and Dupont. |
