Earth Fare - Greensboro

Hippy grocery store. Great clean food. Great folks work there. Frank, the butcher, always recommends some great stuff. The beer is to the far right corner of the store, next to the cheese section. Good selection. Lots of organic and gluten-free selections. Solid representation of popular styles (porter, stout, ipa, etc.) Good selection of the classic Samuel Smith Ales on top shelf. Some ciders and sours also. Great store.

Originally reviewed: 1/26/10. Stopped in here when in the area. It looks like a minor-version of Whole Foods when I walked in. The beer area is on the right side of the store when you walk in. Everything is in a cooler. They carried a good number of bombers like Rogue, French Broad, Ommegang, Lagunitas, etc. A few single 12 oz brews as well. Not sure if they have a deal to make a mixed-sixer or not. Saw selections from Duck Rabbit, Highland, Bell’s, DFH, SN, SA, Victory, Stoudt’s, etc. Also had a decent amount of Belgian and other European brews. This was not a bad place for beer by any means. I’d stop in and grab a brew or two if I was in the area more. Check it out.
