78 Stopped after fly to lax on route to the mountains. Nice looking spot in the little downtown of this place. Food was decent enough. Friendly bartender. Decent selection of their own and guest. Beer was ok. 90s Alt rock no issues there. |

84 Stopped in on Memorial Day on my drive back south from Kernville. Nice location on the main drag in the downtown area of town. Plenty of street parking available. A patio area that would probably be nice, but not on a 95 degree day.
Plenty of seating inside at a number of tables and at the bar. They had seven house beers and a handful of guest taps, as well as a house made root beer. I’d had some of the beers before, and overall the beer quality was good. The three hoppy beers were the best. Service was good, though the food we ordered (homemade kettle chips) took longer than I’d expect. They were good, though. Don’t know that I’ll be in the area again anytime soon, but certainly worth the stop. |
82 This is a pretty cool place, with a nice bar, tons of taps including a nice list of guest taps, decent food, and friendly helpful staff. I would go here a lot if I was a local. |
82 (Visited 01/2013): Kinetic is located in not too far off the 14 on Lancaster Blvd. Street parking is fairly abundant but the area gets pretty busy. The inside has a dark wood decor with brick walls. The bar is along the right side and offers a view of their tap handles. Table and booth seating takes up the rest of the space. Kinetic has around 9 house beers plus a couple guest taps. On my visit they were pouring several standard styles along with a IIPA and Paradox, a Belgian Strong Ale. Guest beers from Craftsman and Hangar 24. The house beers are available in a visually appealing gear-shaped sampler. All of the beers were decent. Service on an early evening was very friendly and knowledgeable. Food at Kinetic is solid as well. We shared a couple different appetizers and they were solid. Overall this is a great addition to Lancaster. I will definitely include this as a stop along with Park Lane on future visits. |

I was very impressed and surprised by how well this place was doing. I figured I was due to pay these guys a visit after they gave us some free beer for RBSG (2012). The brewery is located in a pretty busy part of town and the place was full. Despite that the bartenders were very on top of things and did a good job. The beers were all at least decent, didnt have a single bad beer, and I had a couple that were really quite good. The one I am kicking myself for not trying was the quad but we were in a hurry. Instead I orderd the flight which was most of the house beers minus two and got an extra sample of one of the remaining two. Didnt eat and prices were reasonable. Will stop in again when passing through Lancaster. |
