Drovers Inn

No Longer In Business

The Drovers used to be one of the best pubs/restaurants in the south of Scotland. Their Adnams Broadside went down a wee treat whilst sitting next to the log burning stove on a winters day. Went slowly downhill from about 2004(ish) when it changed hands. Sadly, it has been closed since winter 2007/08 and was still boarded up when we passed a couple of weeks ago. The score reflects the last time we visited, not long before it closed. East Lothian has lost some of it’s best pubs in the past decade or so (the old Dalrymple Arms in North Berwick also springs to mind).
