66 An Irish Pub in the Levee with good food, but the beer lineup leaves something to be desired (mostly widely available European brews, in addition to BMCs). The bar is dim with an old school pub feel. Definitely more of a food destination than a beer destination. |
60 Large Irish-inspired restaurant/pub in the Newport on the Levee complex (mall, movie theater, aquarium, etc.). The space has a patio that faces the river and downtown Cincinnati. The beer list isn’t big, and mostly has English and Irish standards, although they’ve shifted some emphasis to local crafts, as well. The food is hearty and maybe a buck or so overpriced. Service is usually friendly. There’s not a whole lot to it, and there are much better beer places in the area. But if you’re in Newport on the Levee, you could do worse. My parents love this place, so when they’re in town we tend to end up here. |
62 Large (somewhat upscale) Irish pub as part of the major shopping complex in Newport. Nicely styled and we enjoyed being able to sit on the patio with great views of the water and Cincinnati. Okay tap selection with most being the popular Irish pub offerings. Food was quite good and offers up many pub favorites. Overall a pretty cool place. |
54 Went on a Saturday. Busy, but not crazy. The fish and chips were good, but the service was fair at best. Nice pub atmosphere, but not much beer selection. |
68 Great location. Inconsistent service. Pub fare and pub beer selection. Nice atmosphere. |
