84 Located behind the main street in town, which is easier to access by the back street parking lots, IN is a rustic looking spot inside. The food is quite adequate pub style and the beer selection is more than adequate for anyone. They have the occasional multiple tapping days which can get brutally crowded, but a great oasis of beer selection with a very knowledgeable staff. |
88 Had a really great meal here while meeting up with an old friend. The wings were awesome and the draft list is very good. The place was jammed packed and our waitress was still cheerful, talkative and on the ball. The bottle list is pretty solid as well. The beer manager clearly knows what they are doing. I will return the next time I am in town. Recommended for sure. |
80 odd little place in a small town. 20ish taps with quite a few bottles. busy place on a friday night. sampler flights available. tap selection was decent. i didn’t try any food, but it looked pretty good. |

80 Good draft list - definitely the best variety you are going to find in the area. Service is fairly lousy but you shouldn’t let that deter you from sampling their extensive tap and bottle list. |
76 A big, busy, popular pub with an attractive atmosphere. I liked the low-key lighting and the comfortable, older furniture. Despite its location in what appears to be a modern building, the place has a nice, traditional look. There is an outdoor deck as well as a barroom and a dining area. On the night I visited there were a few hard to find brews on tap. The service was friendly, and the turkey burger I had was fine, but the Belgian fries were just American style fries served with a mayonnaise-based condiment. The fruit pickles were a nice touch. The prices were acceptable, and the 3 beer sampler for $6 is a solid deal. I would be happy to come by another time. |
88 Always great beers on tap. Bartenders know their stuff. Huge menu. Specialty keg tappings on Wednesday. A must visit when in the area. |
72 A little hard to find. Nice long bar with a bunch of booths, outdoor seats, and some tables on the other side of the restaurant. Service was pretty good, though it was not a very busy day. I was actually annoyed at how quickly they brought our food. Our meals came at the same time as the appetizer. The food was very good. I was a little offput by the plain old Ruffles potato chips that came with the sandwich. I didnt really want fries anyway, but usually they at least throw you some house-made chips. Prices were pretty average. 2 beers, 2 sandwiches, and a plate of nachos came to about $42. Would definitely go back if I was in the area, but it’s not somewhere I would drive the 30 minutes specifically to go there. |
90 I’m surprised the score is so low because I really liked this place. The only reason the service score is low is that this place is so popular that server was overwhelmed. My hamburger was amazing. They have over 20 craft beers on tap and over 100 bottles including a large number of large bottles. I will definitely come back if I’m in the area. 4/30/12 I am back. The hamburgers are still amazing. The beer selection is awesome and they have a lot of stuff, like lost abbey, Russian river, and Hitachino Nest, that you don’t see everyday here. I actually got into the bar and the ambience is amazing. Lots of stone and exposed brand which connects to a patio that feels like an English garden. This place is even more awesome now that I’ve engaged in a little Beerism. I’d love it if this were my local. I’m upping my rating. |
