The place is a bit hidden off the road so keep your eyes open. Looks like a nice outdoor seating area with a rather small inside that is half bar half dining space. Service was fine but they seemed overall distracted. 7 coaches taps plus others mainly of craft. Didn’t try the food on my visit. Prices were quite low especially at 2 a pint from 3-6 for coaches beers.

An old house across from the OU campus that has been converted into a bar. 7 Coach beers on tap, a fewil regional beers, and some nationally available beers on tap. Pizza was OK for an Oklahoma bar. Tap selection was a little disappointing. Not bad for Norman, but would rather go to Tapworks, Republic, or the McNellies in OKC.

The best selection of beers in Norman. The patio is great year round thanks to heaters. The beer selection is awesome for Oklahoma. The Coach’s beers are very good quality. They also have the best pizza I’ve ever had for cheap! I’ve been here way too often lately because they have Anchor Old Foghorn Barleywine on tap. Unbelievable!!

The beer is the best. They have their own microbrews made at another location in Norman. I believe there are seven house beers, which are alll excellent. I think Happy Hour is from 3-6 pm and the drafts are only $2. I highly recomment the Red River beer, it has a nice fruity but not too heavy taste.

Best bar in Norman. Positives: Pretty good local brews, ok selection of beers, great pizza and appetizers, nice looking waitresses, and an overall kick ass environment. Negatives: Service- it can oftentimes be pretty slow, music- too loud in the evenings, and selection- if you go here as much as I do, you can grow weary of the same few beers. But if you’re stopping in from out of town, check it out and have a Boyd St. Wheat or seasonal brew (right now the Oatmeal Stout kicks ass).

With 20’ of taps, this place has an unbeliveable selection. The coaches beers are 1/2 off from 3-6pm daily and the delicious pizzas are only $5 on Sundays. So the best time to be there is from 3-6 on Sunday. They also have close to 30 beers in bottles and 15 wines to choose from. Check out the Library’s sister resturant, Blu 201 located at: 201 S Crawford, Norman, OK

This is the best bar in Norman. They always have a rotating selection of kegs from microbreweries around the Great Plains and beyond. I tried Spaten Oktoberfest (Germany) and Flying Dog Doggie Style Ale (Denver) here the other day. The food is pretty decent too. The beer is more expensive then other bars here in town, but the selection is unbeatable.

Driving by, I missed it the first time around. It is a converted house. Parking is along the side and back. There isn’t much. Tonight the Coach’s IPA wasn’t on tap and the Bridgeport IPA was on the fritz. The food selection is rather limited and, as mjames stated, they’re serviced my Sysco foods, so you’re getting glorified cafeteria food. Their tap selection is pretty nice for being where it is. It’s a very quaint place.

I love this place, especially in the summer when norman is quieter and it isa easier to find a table. The boyd street is unbeatable for a refreshing beer in the summer especially during happy hour. I really enjoy their selection of house brews and actually like them better than coach’s. If you are coiming to Norman and want good pizza and a beer and to sit outside. The Library is a definite must.
