Located conveniently in the Jungceylon Mall. They have some beers brewed on premise with varying degrees of quality and a couple of decent American and European bottled options (Stone, Deschutes, various trappists). Highly efficient service and decent pricing. Will definitely visit again if I ever should come to Patong once more.
Visited on a hot afternoon in February 2017. Located behind the big ship in the Jungceylon Shopping Center it is a nice place with an inside and an outside area. Four house beers on tap and one on bottle. Plus 20-25 guest beers on bottle from breweries like Stone, Brewdog, Rogue and Hitachino. After drinking Singha, Chang and Tiger in endless numbers for a week, this place felt like heaven for a moment. There is wifi. I ordered the ”Aussie burger” and it was ok.
Very much styled as a commercial tourist-orientated set-up (think shopping centre US brewpub). Quite relaxing with few punters at midday but not doubt it gets more active later in the day. Typical modern pub menu and pricing in line with comparable menus in Phuket. 30 odd bottles inc decent stuff from Brewdog and Stone and of course the Belgian classics. Most bottles priced b/w 250 and 300 baht. 4 house beers on tap and priced quite well at 180 baht for a US pint. But my sample, the dark ale, was unfortunately well below par.
In the heart of Patong. They have an inside and an outside area, both equally hot. The place is modern but well worn. The brewing equipment is on view. Beers were poor I must say. Wifi works. Service good but spoken English was an issue. The food was nicely prepared. They appear to do flights but they are not mentioned on the menu. They will try and sell you a pint. No halves here they told me. Not great but worth checking out.
Hard to find, in the back of a shopping mail and behind a big artificial ship. Nice ambiance with brewing equipment in the bar. Selection is quite blend, but for Thai pubs you can get some nice Belgian ales. Their own brews come in 30 and 50 cl draughts, no possibility to try their beers in 10-15cl tasters sadly. Pricing is acceptable.
Visited this place late in the afternoon and caught it at a quiet time which was good. Location is a little odd as I thought it was quite secluded and hidden behind ’The Ship’. Good set up; attractive bar and round foyer walls with plenty of booth-like seating. Upstairs toilets are a bit of a hassle especially after a few litres of their unfiltered ales and lager. Service was great, but then all service in Thailand is enviably good. Food menu’s kept very simple and westernised; the German pork knuckle was great but at close to a kilogram in weight I really struggled. Good selection of beers as far as Phuket island goes and the house brewed are very tasty indeed even with the use of Royal rice. A good escape from the hustle and bustle of Patong. Highly recommended!
Was very surprised to find this little brew pub in Phuket! Low score only comes from lack of selection, but 3 beers is better than none! Fantastic Location, and would definitely pick this place as best drinks in Phuket....Loved it...
