Interesting bar, not really a beer location. A bit in Berlin style, a lot of street art and tattooed waiters. Small beer list with interesting stuff but also regular industry beer.

Visited for Split Thy Skull barleywine event. While the barleywine list was decent, I had hoped for more excljsive barleywines rather than OTS stuff but fun none the less. Prices were fair, service was good, the crowd was fun, and the free sandwiches were tasty. Downstairs is bright and warm and feels a bit like a breakfast restaurant at the beach. Upstairs is a different world and feels like s punk rock show...graffiti eeverywhere...a bit visually loud to relax there but cool.

A solid bar offering good beer on South Street- something that isn’t all that easy to find. Their tap list isn’t extensive but they do have a fairly high quality selection. As the name implies, lots of their staff and patrons are tattooed and pierced, which seems to be the bar’s scene. Sparsly decorated with the kind of furniture your grandma would have in the 1960s. Old victorian style couches littered with nasty 60s era floral chairs and couches, too. Nasty looking lighting fixtures round out the decor. Walls are painted a pale pea green. As gross as it is it all comes together and works. Friendly bar staff who was quick with my beers. I didn’t get any food but hte huge basket of tater tots almost wooed me. Definitly worth a stop on South Street.
