Visited Nov 4 2006. Per the website, tours and tastings from 12-7 on Saturdays. Walk in - tours and tastings have been cancelled for 8 months! Mentioned the site and he says, ’it hasn’t been updated.’ 8 Months?! Beer expensive - only a dollar less than at the local gas stations/supermarkets. $9 a growler-fill and wouldn’t take the one I brought from home. Screw that. I won’t be drinking this brew anymore.

This is where Lake Placid brews the beers you get in bottles. In Lake Placid, they brew their non-bottled stuff. This is a large building with your typical brewery stuff as you walk in. There is a small gift shoppe with a fridge that sells growlers. They sell typically 4-5 different seasonal growlers at a time. They also have a tour that is given on Saturdays. The tour guide sucks because he talks really fast. The tasting room is pretty cool at the end of the tour with lots of adirondack pine in the room. Worth a stop for the growlers alone.-----UPDATE-----my brother, chazyrph, went here in late February and there was no sign of a brewery being there. Lake Placid beers are not being contract brewed at Matt Brewing in Utica, thereby making this facility obsolete.
