Best bottle shop, with the best selection, in Racine County. The selection is good but Discount Liquor (Milwaukee), just 30 minutes away, puts it to shame.

Nice place to visit when I don’t want to drive up to Milwaukee. Not many 12oz singles, but a bunch of bomber bottles. Plenty of 6-packs, too. Prices are decent. Very helpful staff.

Typical warehouse style liquor store. Good selection of typical craft brews and inports, but I rarely find something REALLY rare there. Staff is always willing to help me with something, look things up, even held some things for me a couple times. I docked them a couple points for value/ overall for one big reason: to get BCBS variants on "Black Friday" they made you buy other Goose Island stuff (that I probably won’t drink, they’ll end up as giveaway beers or something). Obviously I did it, but this isn’t my favorite sort of business practice, especially since I buy plenty of stuff there already. Otherwise, definitely the best place in Racine, and comparable to other places that are close by (Tenuta’s, Mars Cheese Castle, even Woodman’s).

Good selection. Many beers available by the bottle. Very friendly workers. They carry your stuff out to the car if they think you need help.

Decent selection of beer, mostly domestic six packs and a handful of foreign offerings. Friendly staff and a good selection considering the location.

Best liquor stor in Racine. Better then average selection of beer. I’ve been to this place countless time and everytime the staff is so friendly and helpful. More times then not they will help carry your beer to your car. (Maybe I buy too much)

There are lots of six packs here, very limitied singles, and very restricted amount of bombres. Nothing crazy here, but it’s good to be thorough and make the 10 minute trip from the interstate on the return trip from visiting Discount Liquor in Milwaukee. (Discount Liquor is mandatory.)

A good place to shop for midwest micros when in the area - founders, new holland, bells, new glarus, etc. are all represented in abundance (though sometimes their prices seem a little high, even compared to Milwaukee stores) - occassionally, you will find a rare gem (I just found four packs of Founders Kentucky Breakfast there), but you will pay out the nose for it (the four packs were 16.50 a piece) - if you have the time to drive up to Milwaukee, go to Discount Liquor, but if you’re staying in or around Racine for some reason, this is an essential stop.

I’m a Kenosha native, and as far as I know, this is the best place to purchase beer in the Racine area. Timer’s offers a good selection of European beers mixed with American micros. They have a well-stocked cooler in the back as well as a few shelves of Europeans. I picked up several 4-packs of Founder’s Breakfast Stout on my last visit, and I noticed a good number of WI microbreweries such as Capitol, New Glarus, South Shore, and Lakefront represented. Its worth a stop if you’re in the area, but its offerings are not as exetensive as Discount Liquors in Milwaukee. I’d shop here over any location in my hometown.
