If you want to go to a WOB in the area, head to the Cary location. Each time we’ve gone here the service has been mediocre. Food is the same way. Beer? Yeah, pretty good variety. If you want a fun welcoming atmosphere, try the Cary one or go a few yards up the street from this North Hills location to the Hop Yard.

They had many bottles and fifty taps. There were flights which was helpful. The food service was mediocre and the food items are limited. However, the best thing I like is that they update there on-line selection which means you can search for products before you get there.

The beer prices are way too high for the current beer bar market in Raleigh. Add to that, subpar service, and management that doesn’t have a clue, and this just isn’t a place that will survive. I definitely don’t frequent it as much as I used to. It’s a shame because this is a money making location, great beer selection, and a great opportunity. In the end it is mismanaged and poorly run.

Located in this weird office park/shopping park place with lots of parking garages. It’s also next door to a yardhouse which is its nearest competitor. It’s place looks a lot like the FL location I visited with 50 or so taps, lots of tv’s, patio with outdoor access, and a slightly brotastic vibe. Service wasn’t the greatest but in their defense they were extremely short staffed for the business they had. The beer selection is really quite good. I’m guessing they recently did a Stone tap takeover since 1/4 of their taps were Stone. My on,y criticism is I wished they featured more local stuff but there’s always something new to try at a place like this.

Checked this place out a while back, and found it a very pleasant place to spend a couple hours. Small but not cramped, dark wood and breweriana, garlanded by TV screens everywhere. Really extensive tap list, and a huge bottle list too. Killer selection of seasonal and specials stood out particularly, and I really enjoyed sampling a nice range of these courtesy of their flights. Great staff, pleasant vibe, I’ll certainly be eager to go back next time I find myself in North Raleigh.

Used to come here a lot but haven’t in a while. A solid bar with nice choices but the prices due to the location hold this back from really being my every week stop. You can get some snooty workers here and some that have really have no clue on beer other than some hasty training. The new WOB app is a nice touch and a perk for being a chain.

Good selection of beers ... but you have to order take-out from other establishments to get anything to eat or munch on.

Best selection of beers on tap! Far better atmosphere than the Flying Saucer (which is really the only other place in Raleigh that has nearly as many options). Awesome place!

We’ve been waiting for this place to open for a long time and it didn’t disappoint when it finally did. There are approximately 8 refrigerators full of beers from around the world to choose from, knowledgeable staff, friendly management, and a great environment. There is one draw back to WOB: If you go in on a Friday or Saturday night prepare to sit outside on the patio, because the inside does not have much seating. My suggestion would be to get there very early, but even then there will be a lot of after-work folks there. However, don’t let that hold you back from going, it’s an excellent place and a lot of beer to choose from.
