This is primarily a restaurant/cafe, not a bar, because of this there is a limited choice of beer. Selection in 2014 is down to international bottled beers, a few taps and no Rethymno beer.

Resturant along the beach promenade. Very limited beer selection, just Mythos on tap and around 10 bottles with Erdinger Weiz being the most interesting. No Craft or Rethymnon beers. Great food at a affordable price and nice and attending service. Low overall score cuz this is not a beer place, but i could see myself go again for the food

Easy spotted along the beach promenade, by the Craft sign on the corner, offers 2 beers from Craft on tap, a pleasant surprise. I had the Red Ale, served at perfect condition, from a very service minded waitress. Beer selection will be expanded next year, according to her. A must visit if you are in these neck of the wood. Have to eat next time around.

I submit an entry on this one because the place offers three beers from the Craft brewery and the two Brinks from the local Rethymnian Brewery available from tap. Two of the Craft beers, the red ale and the pilsener, are also served from tap. The Craft Brewery is promoted by their own beer menu displayed on the tables. Other beers include the decent Fix Black and the usual fizzy stuff. Together with a bottle of Craft smoked lager and the pilsener we had a fresh made and tasty Greek Omelette with Greek Salad for lunch. Fat Snail is located on the corner of Kapetan Lenonia and Sofokli Venizelou streets, in other words along the beach promenade of Rethymno. Jazz music image. Very relaxing with good food and beers in 30 degrees Celsius. Polite service. I should mention that five minutes walk from this place there’s a Spar Store that has got a decent range of bottled beers, including the Crafts and the Brinks (visited, 12.08.2012).
