Looks like 40 taps, with a full line up of Russian River beers, including Beatification on tap. I remember when it was so hard to get. Beers are $9.25-$10.85/pint. Not sure about half pours. Located in beautiful San Pedro square. Dig it!

I have been in San Jose a week and not bothered to visit because I assumed it was just another fake Irish bar selling little more interesting than Guinness. But tonight it was late I was in need of a beer (!) and was walking past. The decor is indeed faux-Irish. But 52 beers on tap and a very good interesting range. It busy, maybe a bit rowdy, with some serous looking security but for all that pretty comfortable. Service good and friendly.

I walked in pretty much expecting your typical garbage Irish pub that’s listed on the site with five beers that nobody drinks.

Aesthetically, it pretty much is that crappy Irish pub, but they have like 60 taps and a lot of pretty solid beers. Yeah, they’ve got the garbage stuff like Guinness, Bud Light, Stella, Smithwicks, whatever. But they’ve got a bunch of stuff from all over. Pannepot, Black Xantus, Ballast Point Fathom, Drakes Jolly Rodger @ the Irish pub, sure? Despite having a massive list, I’ll admit that it’s a bit like the Yard House in terms of having a ton of beers, but not necessarily a ton of interesting beers. A lot of whiskey, too.

On a weekend night, I was there a little early, but it had the feel of a place that can get a bit rowdy rather than just being your relax and drink a beer sort of place.

Based on the rating from Bobby, I’m not sure if this place underwent a massive change in 18 months or if one of us walked into the wrong bar.

This was an in and out kind of stop. Much like the other Irish bars that are listed here on Ratebeer there are a dozen taps of the same old “imported” crap. There is a positive side though and that is that it is a popular spot to watch the games and you can sit outside in the sun. I see no need to come here for a beer unless I wanted to Advocate some Guinness and watch a game.

The Bay Area’s premier Irish pub and ale house. 38 beer taps, full liquor bar featuring over 14 Irish Whiskey’s and 33 Scotch Whiskey’s! I’ve been drinking at this bar for 8 years and now that it has expanded it’s beer selection, it’s even better!
