One my favorite places to drink in the world. Firstly, its on the beach with a perfect view of the ocean. The decor is comfortably and friendly and interactive. Roughly 20 beers to tap, and finally we find real hop forward fresh beers. Everything was outstanding. Top place in Australia, a must.

The view is awesome. Thoroughly enjoyed watching the surfers at Manly beach and loved the outdoor seating and overall set-up, too bad everything else wasn’t quit as good. Whatever they have listed on the website has NOTHING to do with what is actually on tap and the taplist they give you isn’t actually that reflective either. I also didn’t like the fact the sampler tray is predetermined - that is so 90s brewpub style. On the plus side, at least half a dozen Murrays beers on tap, along with a handful of guest beers. Murrays beers were awesome, service was quick, though waitresses weren’t the brightest. Food is pricey, but good - the Tomato salad at $7 was a great value. Prices overall were quit high for both beer and food. Happy hour makes things more managable. Still with great beer and a great view, it is hard to complain too much about this place. Highly recommended if in Sydney.

nice view of the beach and this bar would have a cool atmosphere with a packed house. lots of beers on tap. were missing a few beers from their range but thats expected. service was nice barman gave me a free drink because the keg ran out of the black pilsner which was nice. kindly gave me tasters off all the beers for free. I really liked this place. get very pissed quickly here

Very good selection of beers, visited on a Sunday afternoon fairly busy with many people eating but service still good. Staff attentive and had knowledge of beer types and gave suggestions after asking about taste preferences. Taster trays had 4 beers all had tasting notes.

Splendid view overlooking the Bay. A lot of taps here showcasing Murray’s beer. Can’t knock the selection with a range including a two percent hoppy number, pale ales and right through to a couple of Imperial Stouts and strong Belgian brews. The tasting paddings are great with the right serving size for getting through quite a few, or all of the beers. It’s probably a good idea to a have a friend there to help you out though - it’s a lot of beer. Simple but tasty food to accompany the beers. Word is that they will soon do growler fills too.

Visited in March 2012. Across the street from the beach. Had a decent selection from Murrays, the Big Wednesday was the favourite beer of my trip to Australia. Swedish bar maid was helpful in talking me through the beers. All in all, slightly better than the 4 Pines.

It has the feeling of a decent restaurant with the added bonus of having great beers. Service good be bit better. The food is very good but a bit pricey. But it’s worth going just on the beers only.

Awesome place right on the beach in Manly, Sydney. I was there during the day so the atmosphere was pretty relaxed. The service was excellent and the staff really know their beer as well as how to pour and serve it. It can be a bit pricey but it’s expected due to the location. The range is, of course, mostly Murrays stuff but they do stock a few other craft and international beers. I would totally recommend anyone to visit to try some of Australia’s best beers.

Recently opened and not yet attracting many customers at all. 4 Pines around the corner was full (on a Sunday evening) and here was almost empty. Mostly Murray’s beers on tap with a couple of guests. Small, mostly appropriate menu. Oddly, no cheese. Beer was good but rather too cold. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. They’re working on a few things with the fit out, but the location’s good and mostly this place just needs time for people to find it.
