This place is bad, even for a Bevmo. I drove around that damned shopping center twice before I found it. Now there is a sign out front but the sun was right above it and the letters are tiny, easily the smallest Bevmo sign that I’ve seen yet. There is another small sign above the shopping carts. Even the delivery van is tiny. The inside of the store is small too. As mentioned earlier, even for Bevmo standards this place is bad. They have one aisle of beer. Well, it’s basically two aisles but the first aisle is liquor on the one side. The other aisle has a bunch of macros and some sodas in it. Added together it’s about one aisle. Half of the available beers are the same tired European imports that every Bevmo seems to be obligated to stock.

The part that would be the saving grace actually makes the store worse. They have two end caps full of IPAs and hoppy beers. Sounds good, right? Well, no, they’re on the end cap and nowhere near a refrigerator. Figueroa Mountain Hoppy Poppy, Coronado Idiot IPA, Ninkasi Domination, Hop Stoopid, Eagle Rock Populist, Left Coast Hop Juice, Mission Ship Wrecked, two beers from Strand, Stone Cali Belgique IPA, Racer 5, Mongo, Hop Rod Rye, Great Divide Titan, Unita Dubhe and Hop Notch, Dale’s Pale, the list goes on. But it’s all sitting there rotting. What a waste of space.

The only thing I considered buying was Hop Stoopid since they were 2 for $8. I will not be returning.

Just off the freeway, this BevMo has a pretty decent selection, but nothing really much different than other BevMos in the area. Prices are average, no splitting 6/4-packs, a few limited release beers, but mostly the usual stuff from SoCal breweries and the big name imports.

Ah Bevmo. They have a decent selection of brews with Ballast Point, Stone, Alesmith, Marin, and several other nice breweries. No rarities or special releases really. They did have a nice singles section of belgian and other europian brews. Some decent selection in the cooler area. It is just that I stopped here 2 years ago and there selection virtually the same. Decent store for the area though.
