Visited July 2, 2013.

This is about two blocks from Pacific Wine Merchants so it’s an easy place rating stop. A bit confusing since it’s so large inside and they advertise that they buy/sell/trade sports cards. Havent been in a card shop in a long time. They also have snacks and wine and liquor.

The beer aisle is nice because everything is kept in fridges. There is some good stuff in there but over all fairly limited. Sierra Nevada, Hangar 24, Bear Republic, Lagunitas, and the standard imports. The one beer that was not in a fridge was a 3L bottle of Vertical Epic 12 and it was in a wooden frame and had two glasses with it. I was tempted to buy the AleSmith Wee Heavy that I saw in the fridge but I have too much beer at home right now so I scrolled past. You can definitely find something good to drink here but it’s not the most amazing selection.

Pretty cool little local liquor store. I randomly stopped by last month after seeing it on the beer map. I found 6 bottles of 2007 Alesmith Decadence Imperial Porter. I couldn’t believe a place like this had them. I jumped at the opportunity to buy all of them. The owner that works there was very cool and we talked about good beers for about 20 minutes. He told me he was going to cut down on his Macro brews to bring in more craft micro brews. There was a lot of Stone bottles such as 12th Anniversary, 13th Anniversary,07.07.07, 08.08.08. He even had Hangar 24 Orange Wheat and Pale Ale. I have been back a few times to see what was new.

This is a family run liquor and Deli, in Upland, right up from the 10 freeway. This really is where I started buying different beers, as I got a "Wallace IPA" here when I was 21. Now there’s a great selection of Belgians, some very decent Germans, Malt Likka!, and all seasonal Stone, Lots of left coast, evertything from Dale Bros., and a few others. its not going to knock a beer snobs socks off, but there’s alot of nice stuff for a newbie, and they’re very nice, so I want to let them be known about!
