70 Eclectic little store with a few hidden gems though tending towards 4 and six packs for local beers. Worth a stop if in the area. |
72 Very decent selection of ale but cramped with stuff all over the place in no logical order. Service is indifferent but prices are fair and, unusually for Canada, include taxes. |

66 A small shop off the main street with no parking. Cramped and the beer haphazard, service was marginal. Very wine oriented, but they did have a pretty good selection with man imports and stuff that is sold out elsewhere. Prices are pretty good. Go for the beer and ignore the rest. |
60 Small shop but decent bottle selection. Friendly staff and can get busy due to its downtown location. Convenient. |
70 Nice, smallish wine store with a very central location. Quite a few beers at the rear and a homey atmosphere thanks to the overkill presence of three employees in the minuscule space when we were there. More interestingly, among the beer selection, there were probably a solid dozen of rarer ones - like Trois Dames from Switzerland - that I had not seen at neither Firefly nor Brewery Creek a few days before. In other words, it’s a great complement to the other stores in town, but if you’re only oing to visit one store in Vancouver, this will not be the most satisfying of the lot. |
60 More of a wine shop, but some good craft bewer selection. Just hope you don’t have claustrophobia. Place is small and packed full of product. |
74 This is the first beer shop that I stumbled into when I moved into the city. Even though it is quite crowded with misc. boxes after talking to the store manager I came to understand that it is that way do to the fact to get spec beers in B.C. is a bit of a nightmare and he has to order a large amount and has know where to store them. |
70 Tiny store with a fair number of beer. The location is good, but its not cheap. If you’re downtown it’s a good spot though. |
76 Viti have a decent selection of beer for what is quite a small store, plus it has the added bonus of being downtown. The staff there are mostly beer geeks and so I usually have a good beer chat every time I visit. They have a decent selection of Belgian, USA and Canadian craft brews. I’ve even seen some good Mikkeller and Nøgne Ø brews there, plus the occasional few bottles of Westvleteren. |
