No Longer In Business

Nice little sandwich place, always crowded, with a small selection of groceries, wines and beers. Only half a dozen bombers, but that included some local stuff. Everything else was in sixers, also local and regional. Decent prices.

I was SO HAPPY when I discovered this little market less than a block from my new apartment. After moving to a new neighborhood in DC from center city Philadelphia, I was a little saddened by the lack of small markets and beer stores within walking distance of my home. I hadn’t checked out this little cafe for several months, but had heard good things about the food and free wifi. When I did finally make it inside, I discovered that it was also a market with a large selection of bottled beer in the back of the store! Very happy indeed. While the selection isn’t exhaustive, just the fact that there are some old standards like Dogfish Head, Victory, Bells and other east coast favorites is enough for me! I’d give this a higher score if it were just a little bit cheaper. Oh, and the food is quite good, I recommend the Southwest DC sandwich!
