No Longer In Business

Time to say good bye to this store in Berlin. One of the first to bring speicalty beers to the captial. Started with english and belgians beers. Excellent selection, huge cellar, fine wines and a great knowledge. Unfortunately he needs to close to down due to higher rent prices and stronger competition of the young and hip craft beer scene. He cleared out his cellar over the last months and will closed soon.

One of the longer existing shops with excellent beer in Berlin. Used to be one of a few spots in Berlin where craft beer could be bought, but is now heavily competing with new hip stores in Kreuzberg, Prenzlauer Berg and Friedrichshain. The location doesn’t help here. The owner has a large knowledge of beer and is an institution in the Berlin beer scene. However, the prices are far higher as compared to other stores.

Beer & Wine Shop with a good selection of german and international beers. The focus of its beers seemed to be from GB. Prices were slightly higher as in other shops, especially for german craft beers.

Nice bottle ship in Berlin with a nice selection. Bottles stacked everywhere, and very helpful staff (who also speak English). Nice selection of German craft beers, as well as US, Belgian, UK, etc. Prices are as would be expected for craft beer.

WoW. What a lovely little store. Outstanding bottle selection. Helpful and generous staff. Had a long nice chat and he even served me beer! My friends was there at a beer tasting. Just loved the place. A fine little gem and a must visit! Not far away from Bellevue s-bahn station. 10-15 min walk. Depend on how much beer.....

Excellent choice

Nice selection of craft beer, but service was quite poor. The salesman wasn’t able to tell me anything about the beer I was intersted in.
