68 Classic American pub (a lot of wood, no sunlight, many tv screens etc), but they have very good vintage music ("For your love"???). Wonderful service, not only I got "samplers", but the ladies there make you feel comfortable and smile (that didn’t happen at Big Ridge). The tap list, although without big beers, at least features a lot of BC micros. |
52 Have seen this place frequently mentioned in the Camra Newsletter, so we went to have a look.
They have a fairly good selection of BC brews and 1 US,(Dead Guy at the moment) which is pricey at $7.50 pint.
Beer is served very cold, in chilled glasses (unless you request otherwise).
When a friend received a beer with a 2" head on it, he asked for a better pour, but was told thats the way it is, too bad, and yet I had the same beer with a proper pour at the same time.
Food is decent.
Very loud most of the time with a football game and also a football DJ, which made conversation impossible.
I won’t be back.
