Visited for the first time last night (12/26/2012).

I’ve been to the other one in Valencia near Magic Mountain before and never thought to visit this one before. It was a good thing that I did since they had 4 beers that I had never tried before on tap. Also, there werent a lot of people in the resaturant so service was fast. Our bartender was very friendly too.

Didnt eat and only got a quick flight of 6 house beers. My favorite was probably the winter beer. Not great but not bad. Pretty close to the freeway, might stop in again at some point but usually when I stop in that area it’s only to go to Ladyface.

Located in a shopping center right off of 101 in Calabasas. Well kept interior, large bar straight ahead with what seems to be not too many normal tables for seating. Six house taps and a few guest taps. The house beers aren’t really anything special. Most are just okay. Staff was attentive and helpful, prices were decent, I suppose. You’re better off going up the road to Ladyface, though.

**Sidenote: Im basing value on beer and food. I am also basing selection on the fact that this establishment mainly brews their own beer, although they do have several very good guest taps. Wolf Creek by appearance, feel, and atmosphere seems like a home away from home. Everything from the high arching architecture to the rustic colors of the interior are meant to relax the customer, as opposed to many other craft beer establsihments. WIth this being said, the beer is very good. Head brewer Rob McFerren takes several risks with his year round beers, including a dark and decadent Stout/ IPA and a ultra hoppy Red Ale that is well over 8.0 ABV. This combined with excellent service and very tasty food make this a go to for anyone looking to relax with a pint or two. Try the calamari or the burger with the aformentioned beers.

A slightly more convenient location of the Santa Clarita Brewpub. This one is a restaurant only, but gets its beer delivered from the main brewpub on a weekly basis. A new building in a new shopping complex in Calabasas. Decent parking. Faux rustic interior that looks nice. Decent patio. 10 taps (6 house beers, 4 craft guest taps). Some bottled beers, a fair amount of wine. Nice looking bar. Food menu was extensive. Food was decent (think Cheesecake Factory for menu options and quality). House beers were acceptable to good. Service was friendly. If you only have time for one stop in the area, that stop would have to be Ladyface which is only a mile or two up the road. If you have time for multiple stops, this place is worthwhile.
