I stopped in here once after some business in LA. Unfortunately when I got here the parking lot was jam packed. There was no room at the bar so I had to get a table. They dont do samples so I had to to order two pints and then got a taste of the last one. All the while there are people hovering over the table waiting for me to finish my pint and bowl of chili. Service was slow, I had to pay to park in the parking lot (they validated part of the fee), and the beer was meh. At least the chili was good.

This place is depressing, even by dive standards. A handful of patrons at 9pm on a Saturday. They had three of the Weiland Brewing beers on (had to come here because the Underground location is closed weekends). They don’t do flights, so I had to bargain with the bartender. Mediocre (at best) selection otherwise. The house beers are just kind of meh.

Stopped in here for a couple pints with a friend of mind from out of town. Yes, this place has the feel and clientele that resembles a dive bar. But what is not to like about that (and the $2.50 pints during a LONG happy hour?). The bar is a bit cramped, but Weiland’s IPA was decent from what I could tell, and my friend’s Hefe wasn’t half bad either. I’ll be back for the prices alone, seeing as that I work near here.
