A good spot, but a tad on the old site. when you’re in the neighbourhood, check it out.

Nice relaxing cafe with a decent beer selection. Convenient for Berchem Station and makes for a nice stop after visiting the Zurenbourg Art Nouveau. You can walk back to Central Station via De Koninck if looking at breweries is your thing.

Visited here on Saturday 19th March 2011. Really nice bar quite close to Berchem station a district of Antwerp. The landlord and (his wife?) were really friendly and chatty despite the relative briefness of our stay. Beer range looked excellent and prices were not too bad either. There are a couple of decent bars around this area and the houses by the station are quite magnificent in their opulence. I would heartily recommend visiting the area and when you do ensure you pop in to this place.
