A great little place near the far corner of a square off the street. There’s a small inside area that looks like an outside bar, along with an open section at the front where the bar is. Basically dedicated to Golden Coins beer on tap. I spent a Friday night there and is wasn’t too busy, though enough people for a bit of atmosphere. There’s a DJ at the front but the music wasn’t too loud. Also the owner/brewer who I spent some time chatting to went off at one point saying he needed to play the piano and then spent most of the evening doing solo pop covers. Nice people there, decent beer and good times!

Just a few minutes’ walk from Mikkeller Bangkok, this place is definitely worth a stop. Compact, modern tasting room, with 6 of their own beers on tap. No flights. Beers available by the glass for 180 baht, or 100 baht during happy hour. Very friendly service and they will give you free samples. Beers are quite solid overall too. Definitely worth hitting on the way to/from Mikkeller.

Nice hangout amidst eateries and cafes on Ekkamai Soi 10, with ample parking and transport options. 6 taps, rotating between the various Golden Coin brews. A food menu has been added, which makes it possible to hangout here over a meal as well. Happy hours are before 8 pm where drafts go for THB 100 instead of the usual THB 180. Overall, chill place, great value!

Not too far a walk from Mikkeller Bar. Small taproom to come try the Golden Coins beers. I wasn’t too taken by the beers personally but by no means poor quality, they just need some work to dial these beers in. The bartender was very friendly and had a good chat about the current Thai beer scene so I was happy to still hang out here for a while. It’s worth a stop due to the close proximity of Mikkeller and do hope the quality can improve in time.

Update July 2018 - There has been a lot of politics here in the last few months. The Golden Coins sign disappeared as did the beers! However, I’m now pleased to report that the beers are back, but not the sign just yet. Look for the bar which says “Let’s fill this town with craft beer” above the entrance. All the beers here were from Golden Coins on my last visit.

Original Rating - Opened December 2016, close to the Mikkeller Bar. Quite a small taproom with six Golden Coins beers and I spotted a few bottles at the back in a fridge too. The bar itself is pretty much outside where you can also sit. Indoors there is seating for about 30 people. On the Saturday night I was there the DJ was blasting out Techno music so I didn’t stay long. The food looked good but I didn’t eat. No wifi sadly. Quality of the beers was good and better than I’ve had in bottles from these guys in the past. For anyone visiting Mikkeller, you would be crazy not to stop here too.

Jmgreenuk and I spotted this place on the way to Mikkeller and decided to check it out. It’s only been open a month and was reasonably popular on a Saturday night. They have 6taps of their own beers and 2 bottles. Unusually the taps are outside, at the entrance. There is food available but we didn’t try it. There was DJ playing loud music. Prices were around 180 baht per tap beer. The map looks a little confused. Go to Ekkamai Bts station and then follow the route for Mikkeller. When you turn right for Mikkeller, you will see the golden coins on your left in a shopping/bar area.
