Finally made it here on a cold Thursday evening. Service was great, attentive, and knowledgeable. They have flights of their in-house beers, and some great guest taps. The food was more memorable than the house beers. My wife and I will definitely be back.

Been here a couple of times and it has been dead, usually on the weekend and during summer. They have half their beers and half guest taps, their beers a pretty decent and the guests are always solid. Never had the food. Service is always good.

This is sort of a small brewpub tacked onto a beer bar and restaurant. Only a minority of the beers offered are from Madmouse and of those only half of them are brewed on premise. The house beers are pretty solid if unexceptional but they have a good dozen or so other craft drafts including lots of locals. They do samplers of the house beers which makes this a decent enough stop for serial tickers as it’s pretty close to Vice District and Motor Row. The food is BBQ-centric and about as good as you’re going to find in Chicago, really. I’ve only been on weekday nights but I find the place sort of pleasantly quiet and subdued in atmosphere, help has been generally pleasant and attentive when I’ve sat at the bar. Beer prices are completely reasonable. If I find myself needing to pick a place to eat or have a couple drinks at in the UIC area, this is definitely the spot I would pick.

Stopped in during CCBW for the 1st year anniversary. All beers were good, including their inhouse stuff. Food was pretty kickass, absolutely great BBQ. service was a bit inattentive at times, especially when they got busy. I would totally go back if in the area, but wouldn’t seek it out over other chicago stops.

Recently opened place in Chicago. Stopped by the night before Fobab for dinner. Not a bad place for food. Decent beer selection. Didn’t get to try what they make since it wasn’t ready yet. If you are in the area and don’t want to take a cab anywhere it’s probably worth a stop if you’re near UIC.

Nice little restaurant on UIC. Killer American food. Brews have some ways to go but decent for a startup. Ill be back
