64 Visited on a Saturday afternoon and the place was deserted. Tucked away and easy to miss. Sat at the bar. Service was friendly but didn’t seem happy to be there or to be dealing with what seems to be the typical bro-ish clientele.
Overall a bit of a sports bar vibe. Pretty extensive taplist but prices are ridiculous for the most part. Multiple pour-size choices would go a long way.
Ate some wings, which were pretty decent. Good that they have a nice liquor selection. |
84 This is basically like every other World of Beer in the country, except they have food. I did not eat on my visit though. If crazy rare beers are available in Denver, this is a great place to look for them. |
72 A quiet Saturday afternoon visit..except for blaring music..nuh! Service not bad, knowledgeable, friendly. A great tap selection , about 50 plus some bottles. Didn’t bother looking at the bottled list..not immediately, though I did later. It’s extensive. Mostly craft American, some British and Belgian. 72. |
76 Ambiance is a little bro-y, nice though. Service was very good, but they get rather busy on weekends. Selection is the high point of this bar: 25 ish taps of very good beer, and many more bottles. Value is decent for taster flights ($8-10 for 4 oz. flight of four). Overall, very nice. Happy to have been around for the Firestone Walker takeover during GABF weekend. |
60 Visited during GABF weekend and this place was packed Lot of seating at tables and at the bar. Each table had a Ipad that you could search the beers that are on tap by name, style or abv and get a description of it. Why not let you order from there also? That would have been great. I think it was our servers first day, he didn’t have a clue about the beer or what was on tap. They had a Firestone Walker tapping at 6pm but had it listed in the menu and on the tablets before 5pm. Nobody seemed to know when the tapping was actually going to take place. Finally tapped about 6:30. The had a Randall at the bar (they called it an Infuser) with 2 tap handles, but didn’t have any beer going through it. I don’t know if this was just a new place going through growing pains or they just weren’t prepared for a being that busy. |
