Good Spirits Co is probably your best option for good take-away beers in Central Glasgow. They are an upmarket beer, wine and spirits specialist located a couple minutes away from Queen St Train station. The beer selection is about 100 or so and spans UK, European and US craft beer. They have a pretty good selection of new Scottish stuff, which was what interested me. If you are into whisky this place is also for you. Staff were very friendly and chatty. A great place.

This little gem specialises in spirits, most notably whisky, but they have a very respectably sized bijoux collection of craft beers, too. As well as a really interesting collection of Scottish breweries, they stock a solid range of international stars, too. (I spotted de Molen, Flying Dog, Mikkeller, The Kernel, Sierra Nevada ... ) Incredibly welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable staff sorted me out with some local recommendations, as well as bubble wrap for the plane home. (See, that’s the thing about the craft beer family ... You pop in for a few bottles, and come out having made new friends.) Super central location, too.

Vinyl playing in ambience. Brilliant selection of single malts, an expanding craft beer range. Great service with very knowledgeable staff. Thanks for the local info!

Glasgow’s first off licence which sells craft beer. Although not primarily a beer shop they carry a really good selection of interesting quality beers at reasonable prices. Staff are enthusiastic and the place has a good location in the centre of Glasgow. At last I will be able to buy good beer without going on line or travelling to Edinburgh.

New comer with an ever increasing selection of good beers. Tempest, Stone, de Molen etc with local and international both represented. Friendly and knowledgable staff. As the name suggets, the range of spirits is also great (and cigars!)

New to selling beers but gaining a great selection. This store opened less than a year ago specializing in whisky and other spirits. Imagine the going into your favorite off license and finding 1 or 2 of your loves. this place has every off license’s 1 or 2 in one place. The beer collection is ever growing and has a great selection of Scottish specials and imports.
