72 Situated in the city centre on an alleyway between Westgate Street and the cathedral grounds, this was a good find in the beer desert that is Gloucester. Primarily sells whisky, but also has a decent range of unusual bottled ciders from the likes of Gwynt Y Ddraig and Gwatkins, plus smaller producers in the local area. Beer selection was good too, with a wide range of Battledown and other Gloucestershire brewers, plus well-chosen ones from further afield such as Traquair and Weltenburger Kloster. Owner was helpful and offered some tasters of cider. Will definitely visit again. |
