After a recent revisit - I’m going to rerate this place. Still has the same beautiful appearance and location but the service has been slipping on recent visits. Food has gone a bit downscale and the staff appear to be a combination of uninformed and disinterested. Still worth visiting though. A gorgeous spot on the waterfront. High atrium with lots of wood trim, large windows and dark lighting in the evening. Classy wood trim. Only two house beers which was a bit of a disappointment since they are head and shoulders above anything else on tap. Lots of Keith’s taps as well, although I like seeing the Pumphouse and Propeller stuff on tap. It’s a pretty solid place and it’s worth checking out in Halifax. One of the best in the city. The food was pubby but tasty and the service was top notch. Not much to complain about here. 5 8 10 8 7 16

Comfortable spot at the end of a pier dedicated to shopping, so you have to go through the mall area to find it. Attentive staff and a fair selection on tap, including their own beers. Great food.

the food was fantastic. Really really tasty. But when I go to a brewpub I like to be able to drink the pub’s beer. this place had two beers on tap that they brewed, and they were both odd end of the night or extreme taste beers. some kind of dark lager and a RIS. Sadly, I was left drinking local brews from other breweries, and frankly, Halifax local breweries have much to be desired. I was disappointed in every beer I had--Granite Peculiar, Propeller Bitter--because, well, they’re not in my opinion all that well crafted. But the food was seriously kick ass and the place was awesome. I imagine if the beer they brew was more session-able it would be great.

Love Nash beer, but don’t care for the place. High ceilings, crappy seats.

Nice wood-lined restaurant with high vaulted ceiling and lots of windows right on the water of Halifax Harbour. Food was very good; I got a seafood linguine and my wife got a good-looking sandwich. Only one (!) beer on tap. That was a bummer for me. Even if it is a small operation, I have a hard time thinking of another brewpub that can stay open with only one choice at a time. They had a few taps of other locals, as well as some bottles, but one in-house beer was a major downer. It was good, though. Service was friendly but seemed a bit understaffed. Worth a stop if you’re here for a while, but with only 48 hours or less in town, I think my time would have been better spent elsewhere.

Appealing pub on the waterfront boardwalk. As mentioned by others here, they are a tiny operation so they only have one or two of their own beers on offer at a time. Still, the quality of the beer I had was the among the best I’ve had in the maritmes. Kitchen closed at 9, so no food for us.

Nice looking bar, it has a nice open view of the harbour, but I was really disappointed to find that they only had 2 of their own beers on tap? why that is I don’t know. it appeared they always do that, they had more propeller then they did their own beers on tap. No surprise that they had a lot of alex keiths on tap see it is out east and all and thats really popular out there. but I was expecting them to put a few more in house on tap. I was even more disappointed because the beers I had of theirs turned out to be really good and I would have wanted more. good food though, tasty fries. worth the stop but dont expect alot of their beers too be there

Stopped in while in Halifax on our east coast trip. A very nice place right on the water. On this weekend there were tons of ships pulling in and out very fun to see. The food was good, my wife had a lamb shank that was very tast. Well that is what she said. Beer selection just so so.
