As mentioned a very big college scene, but hey being a UT student...I don’t mind. Very crowded on the weekends. Good specials on the weekdays. Plenty of good macros like Spaten, 6% and over beers, a few micros, good pizza, pool tables, lots of sorority girls... You know the kind of place. Fun.

This place is geared towards the college crowd. Well over half the taps are devoted to macros although you’ll find a few regionals and a Rogue and the like as well. Loose the juke box and the macros and I’d come here again.

Great selection of micros and others, many on tap. The staff is helpful and the food is adequate for the type place.

As mentioned, right on campus, so very much a &quo;college bar&quo; feel. Selection is good, not great, but they do sell over 6% beers. Several regionals available.

Probably my bar of choice in Knoxville. AD really is trying to build a "good beer" bar in Knoxville. On the strip at Tennessee's campus, so it's a college crowd, and gets pretty crowded on the weekend. But occassionally there are some beers you don't see elsewhere in Knoxville. I had the Cottonwood Pumpkin Ale there, and one of the few places that had Rocky River as well. Service is good, knowledgable, and always willing to help, which is a plus. A must stop if you're in Knoxville.
