Now moved to Unit 26, Northfield Way, accessed directly from a side street and bar is part of the main brewery area with vessels on view. Previous review: Located inside the Steam Machine Brewery in a non-descript industrial unit (actually Unit 14 now) inside the IES Centre, Newton Aycliffe. Access is via the main Centre gates (which may need a call ahead to the brewery to get opened) then down to the Unit, through a side door and into the Brew Room, which has a retro-industrial feel with cosy seated area, a main bar and the Steam Machine brewery vessels behind. Good selection of the Steam Machine beers (including special releases) available on tap & cans to drink in or growler fill for takeaway. Friendly service, thirds available and food van often parked out front. Worth visiting.
