This funky little place used to have a decent selection of J craft beer. Now it doesn’t. Period.

Somebody please help these people. Either that or put them out of our/their misery. I feel bad about telling the candid truth in this review because the couple who run the place seem very nice. I wish them the best. OK now the review. Don’t bother going here. It is dirty, cramped, and a total rip-off. They don’t even have very good beers, and they keep them in terrible condition. Hell, when we went, they didn’t event have ANY beer hardly. I think I saw four taps. They were all dry except one, which had some basic ale from Yona-Yona on it. So I ordered it. They only got the glass a little less than half full and the keg blew. That was it. No more draft beer. So they served it to me anyway, warm, flat, and just plain spent. My wife ordered a local bottle. The bill was $17 USD, basically for 1 mediocre 12oz bottle of Japanese craft. My bottom-o-barrel 1/3 pint was undrinkable, but I guess they felt compelled to charge me anyway. This review is the best part of my experience there.

A funky, funky tiny place that has three running themes, specialty beers, teddy bears and SE Asian food, eclectic to say the least! There is a small small patio outside and inside could probably not fit more than 15 people. The ventalation is almost none existant so prepare to fill your lungs with whatever is cooking as the kitchen is part of the one room establishment. They have 5 or 6 Japanese micros on tap, plus a handful of Japanese micros in bottles and dozens of other internationals in bottles as well. Prices are a little steep for the beer, but the food was outstanding and well worth the long wait for it. This is a husband and wife venture, the wife cooks and the husband pours and takes orders. As long as you are not in a rush, you will like this place, it is just bloody hard to find. If you find the Amway store on Mido-Suji street turn up the street beside it walk two blocks and it is hidden down an alley on the left hand side.
