Paulaner Brauhaus @ Urban One, Taipei

No Longer In Business

I was here on 21.6.2013. This place belongs to the same chain as the Paulaner restaurants in Shanghai, however it is much worse. They have only 2 beers (dark and pale lager), no Weissbier! The beers are both weak, the atmosphere is also not comparable to Shanghai, you do not feel any affection to beer and the service is poor. German food is very greasy, they also serve food from other countries. Furthermore there is a terrible Chinese oil smell in the restaurant. Definitely a place which you can miss when you are in Taipei.
