European Street Cafe is my favorite sandwich and beer shop. They have an excellent bar with a decent selection on tap and a 2 for 1 happy hour. I have had Hacker-Pschorr Hefeweizen and Ocktoberfest, and Delirium Tremens on tap at the happy hour. My wife loves the Reuben Sandwich. Lots of specialty beers available from the cooler. Bold City Brewery beers on tap. They also have a beer-to-go shop with a pretty good selection of craft beer six packs at decent prices. Really good place for a sandwich shop with a beer bar.

Good sandwiches and a good selection of the standard draft offerings.

Interesting cafe and deli serves lots of sandwiches, wraps, pitas and german sausages as well as some basic mediterranean options. Large, but fairly unimpressive beer list with a lot of BMC and similar but not devoid of interesting beers with some decent American micros, Unibroue and some accessible Belgians. They also carry a Bold City tap. Its an inviting place, I’d probably go back to. No tvs which is nice. This is really more of a restaurant than a store.

Visited the cafe two days in a row while in town. Service was kind of hit and miss with a good bartender the first day and a mediocre one the following. Pretty good beer selection with some good stuff on tap and lots of bottles. Some of the beers available for take-out purchase were not available to drink in-house, which bothered me a bit. The food was mediocre at best with certain annoyances bringing the whole experience down a notch or two. The hummus and tabbouleh were subpar; the sauerkraut was kind of tasteless; reuben sandwiches served on non-grilled rye; wavy chips served with everything including the spinach-artichoke dip, which was otherwise good; some of the meats were overly fatty, etc. A definite effort was made to serve the beers in the proper glassware on the first visit, but the next day it seemed almost everything was brought to us in a frosted mug and some beers were just left on the table without the offer of glassware at all. Atmosphere is okay, for faux-European.

One of my favorite sandwich and beer stops. The food is always good the service even better at least on park street and the beer always cold. Good selection of drafts, maybe 12 taps including Stella Artois, Harp, Guiness, Hackershor Weiss and Octoberfest as well as the usual Bud products. Huge selection of bottle beer from around the world. Zyweic from Poland being my favorite so far. Great happy hour from 2-7, I just love this place.

A great place to go out and sample a little bit of everything. They have a wide selection of beers on draft like Tucher and usually have one special draft on hand. Lots of bottled 6 packs to choose from. Great food too. Worth the trip.
