Fanciest décor of the brewpubs/tasting rooms in Sarasota. I didn’t eat but the food is reportedly quite good, if expensive. House brews range from good takes on tried and true styles to very tasty brews with adventurous recipes. Very friendly bartender (didn’t go over to the restaurant side). One real drawback: this is Florida, and you have to expect to see some insects, even at nicer places. But the three roaches crawling on the bar during my visit drew criticism from even my Sarasota native friend. Darwin’s needs to work harder on pest control. Still, well worth a visit for the beer.

I’ve been here on numerous occasions and the food, brews, and service have been a very good experience each time. I’ve had the Malbec Braised Short Ribs and the Artic Char before and they were excellent and mouth watering. They have a dozen or so taps of their own award winning brews and a couple guest taps llike Cigar City, etc. Their food menus and beers are very interesting and creative. Since it can be an expensive night out, don’t forget they have a Happy Hour (5-7p M-F) and a Late Night (10p-1a Fri. & Sat.) menu if you want to have a less costly experience. They also have events and live music on difference nights. A great one stop experience for excellent cuisine and brews in Sarasota!

Trevligt ställe strax utanför Sarasota midtown. Inte så jättemånga öl att välja mellan, men de som finns är närmast handplockade för att passa en kundkrets som gärna hittar små och spännande öl och bryggerier.

Thoroughly enjoyed this as a date place with my husband. Very nice warm upscale feel. Good food with a Peruvian flare artistically done. Good service on a busy night- the server seemed to at least know what people liked best and what brews paired well with what food. Small selection of house brews which are very interesting (and a few Cigar City offerings). I enjoyed the brews along with the meal. Definitely pricey, but we enjoyed every mouthful!
