64 Despite being a GK pub there were 3 guests from micros - Aylesbury Brewhouse Co Atlas; HopStuff Fusilier; Bedlam Brewery Golden Ale. Lovely grand old building (inside and out). Bit pricey £2.10 a half pint. |
64 Large pub in Kentish Town. Good night out venue, pleasant roomy building. Large beer selection although on my visit I got a string of ticks on very average English bitters (aaargh Greene King alert). I wouldn’t travel here for the beer, but it’s a nice enough pub |
66 An OK spot up in Kentish Town. They have eight handpumps going and there were a few interesting options (and ticks) on my visit. The venue is large and airy, and on my Monday evening visit the place was rammed with a rather young crowd. Prices are average (~£3.50 for a pint of cask ale). The bar staff were surprisingly friendly and efficient. Not a pub to seek out, but it is a nice stop if you’re on your way to the HMV Forum for a show or something. |
