Been around for as long as I can remember. More of a restaurant - although of the rustic, informal type - than a place to go just for a drink. Food is decent, if not cheap, with the emphasis on traditional pies. The selling point for Ratebeer types is half a dozen cask draught traditional ciders and a few more in bottle, although not the most esoteric range - Westons usually features heavily. No draught beer and just a couple of uninteresting bottles. There are wider ranges of cider available in London these days but handy if you are pecksih and in the area.

Chimes is a traditional pie restaurant located not far from Cask Pub & Kitchen. This place feels like it’s from a different era, and you’d be hard pressed to find too many places like it in the capital these days. The decor’s pretty spartan - lots of yellow lighting and wooden furniture. The menu’s almost entirely savoury pies. They’re of decent quality, filling but nothing to write home about. While there’s nothing interesting in the way of beer, the cider selection at this place is legitimately impressive. They offer many on draft in addition to a large selection of bottles. Cider enthusiasts will undoubtedly enjoy the selection. Overall, this is a nice place to come from time to time. If CASK is rammed, and you need a bite to eat, you could do a hell of a lot worse than this place...

Traditional English Restaurant and cider house in Pimlico. This place is just around the corner from Cask Pub & Kitchen, so provides a great alternative option for dinner. The food is traditional with lots of rustic pies (I opted for the fidget), liver & bacon, Bangers & mash and such like. It was rather delicious, if a touch expensive. The thing that makes this place different is the rather decent cider selection – 6 on cask (including at least one perry) and a decent amount in bottles, with the odd standard ale thrown in for measure. A great Pimlico institution.
