84 Pub/Sports Bar/Restaurant with good brews and menu.
Friendly staff and relaxing and confortable ambience. |
76 Nice little gastropub with about 30 taps and quite a few bottles. Really good pub food. Waiter had a rough night. Nice selection of locals. They had quite a few sours on tap. Flights available - 4 for $8. Will return. |
76 This is a nice, local-feeling bar. So close to the financial district, and at the same, it feels pretty calm and quiet. It seems to be dominated by locals, which I’m always okay with. I’ll return here for sure. |
66 Went for lunch with a group. Tap selection is quite good - several breweries I don’t see very often in Chicago. Prices are excellent for the location. Food was good but not exceptional. Service was a bit slow when I was there. |
74 I wasn’t expecting such a great tap selection here - we had to stay well past our meal just to try all the things we wanted. Good "pub" atmosphere. Service just fine, though I was occasionally waiting for service. Food reasonable. Prices also reasonable. I’d eat here again any time I want some good beers while in the Loop. |
86 Located in the South Loop neighborhood of downtown Chicago. Great little bar/restaurant with around 30 beers on tap and a good choice of food. They have a wide variety of beer styles most of the micro and craft brews. I guarantee you will find a good beer to drink. As far as food goes it is good hearty food. I highly recommend the onion. |
86 29 taps/22 bottles; wide variety of styles, with local beers, US microbrews, and uncommon imports. Cozy interior. Food was burgers/sandwiches/salads. My Reuben was good. Service was friendly. |
70 surprisingly good draft selection including a few things not seen elsewhere in town during my visit. brown bar pub with restaurant seatings. it’s more known as a steakhouse in Chicago but the draft list is worth a visit as it’s one of the better menus available in the loop. |
74 Another pretty decent beer bar in the South Loop. As this area grows, I see more places like this popping up. Had quality products on tap, Surly, Cane & Ebel, etc. Nothing too exciting, but high quality. Doesn’t seem to get quite enough traffic as the beer seemed a touch old. But over time, they should get more turnover. |
